Christina Stayeas is the founder of GetWell Rehabilitation, LLC. She received her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from George Washington University in 1997, Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Marymount University in 2000, and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Marymount University in 2007. She was published in the Journal of Physical Therapy Education in 2001.
Her experience spans the whole spectrum of physical therapy settings, including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient rehabilitation, both for orthopedic and neurological impairments. Working with patients with Multiple Sclerosis has been a passion of hers since 2001. Other areas of experience include Parkinson's Disease, Muscular Dystrophy, ALS, as well as complex orthopedic disorders. She has deepened her knowledge with continuing education courses involving advanced manual therapy treatment techniques, including Dry Needling, Myofascial Release (J. Barnes MFR techniques, Visceral mobilization), Joint Mobilizations, and Muscular Re-education techniques to improve gait and function and to reduce pain. In addition, Dr. Stayeas has participated in many patient-education public speaking engagements.

Deb Povinelli, MPT, MPH

Deb Povinelli received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Trinity College in 1994 prior to receiving her Masters in Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University/Drexel University in 1996. She received her Masters in Public Health from Harvard University in Health Policy and Management in 2001. She has worked in a variety of settings throughout her career including acute care/intensive care for adults and pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital, home care for pediatrics and adults, and outpatient/rehab settings. She has taken continuing education courses focused on gait analysis and running dynamics as well as wellness and strength training. She has additional training in cardiopulmonary conditions and the impact they have on function and movement, as well as on vestibular disorders and current treatment protocols.
Deb has been a lifelong athlete focusing on running and triathlon and previously was the owner of a Run Specialty store where she was responsible for training staff and local providers in proper footwear for injury prevention and recovery. Having run many marathons and completed numerous half-ironman distance triathlons, Deb is passionate about finding ways to keep people moving through all stages of life.
